These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Siana Limited's palletised freight transport services. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
"Company" means Siana Limited.
"Customer" means the person or entity using our services.
"Goods" means the items being transported.
"Service" means the palletised freight transport service provided by the Company.
2. Service Scope
2.1. The Company provides palletised freight transport services for non-regulated, non-hazardous goods only.
2.2. The Company does not transport hazardous/ADR goods, fuel, chemicals, flammable materials, refrigerated/temperature-controlled goods, medical/pharmaceutical products, alcohol, tobacco/vapes, waste/scrap materials, cash/valuables, or animals.
2.3. The Customer must accurately describe all goods to be transported and ensure they fall within the Company's service scope.
3. Customer Obligations
3.1. The Customer must provide accurate information about goods, collection and delivery addresses, and contact details.
3.2. Goods must be properly palletised and secured for transport.
3.3. The Customer must ensure goods are ready for collection at the agreed time.
3.4. The Customer must ensure someone is available at the collection and delivery points.
3.5. The Customer must ensure goods comply with the Company's service scope and do not include prohibited items.
4. Collection and Delivery
4.1. Collection and delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.
4.2. The Company will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed delivery windows.
4.3. The Customer must ensure collection and delivery points are accessible.
4.4. Proof of delivery will be provided for all deliveries.
5. Liability
5.1. The Company's liability is limited to the value of the goods transported, subject to maximum limits as may be agreed.
5.2. The Company is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
5.3. The Company is not liable for goods that do not comply with its service scope or contain prohibited items.
5.4. The Customer is responsible for ensuring goods are properly packaged and secured.
6. Payment
6.1. Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking or as set out in any contract.
6.2. The Company reserves the right to require payment before collection or delivery.
6.3. Late payment may result in suspension of services.
7. Cancellation
7.1. Cancellation terms will be agreed at the time of booking.
7.2. The Company reserves the right to cancel services if goods do not comply with service scope or if collection/delivery points are inaccessible.
8. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, traffic conditions, industrial action, or government action.
9. Disputes
9.1. Any disputes should be raised with the Company in writing within 7 days of delivery.
9.2. These terms are governed by English law.
10. Changes to Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
